Hatty Fleetham creates handmade books and works in a variety of different mediums all the way from paper to metal. Hatty often takes their inspiration from abstract geometric shapes and contrasting colours. Their inspiration can come from anywhere, somewhere you would least expect. Hatty's interest in art started very young, they grew up in an artistic family and has carried on with it throughout their life. They seek to raise awareness and resurrect the tradition of bookbinding.

They find making books by hand extremely therapeutic. They don't have to think about anything when they are making them, it clears their mind as a form of meditation and they find it comforting work with their hands, touching the materials. Bookbinding is a disappearing art.
